11th Birthday

Merrilea was sick for her birthday this week so viewing Jungle Book was a no-go. Merrilea's still sick so our family outing is post-poned till a better time. Something to look forward to!

BUT Nafisa's birthday can't be put off! 

I think there was fun knowing she's as tall as her friend's mothers!

Friends say HI

Last month we went to a wedding reception of some friends from the past. There, we met some old friends! Thought you might want to see some of them. The ladies were the primary school teachers for Maria, Joseph and Danielle.  We had fun telling them of all you are doing and where you are. ;-) 

Field Trip!

This morning we went to Malhargad Fort with friends! Merrilea was not well but tried anyways! She's a trooper. We had fun! It's about 40 minutes from our home just outside the city.

Nafisa and New Pizza!

 Nafisa has joined a soccer class. A wonderful Brazilian friend living here coaches it. It's fun to see God provide group activities for Nafisa!

 Got Juice? New haircut in Feb from Aunt Joyce!

 

A REALLY great new pizza place off Salunke Vihar road, about 10 minutes from our apartment! Their chicken bbq is excellent!

Dessert with Opa

Merrilea and Nafisa headed to Delhi on Opa's birthday. Sooooo before the flight we went to the Vimanagar COffee Jar and celebrated! Happy Birthday Opa!

Christmas 2015 - unexpected. Sorrow yet joyful. 

It could not have been better. Thanks for taking the time and money coming. All those hours together were the sweetest expression of love that Grandma embodied. The sacrifice to be together with extended family is special. The Schrack family has modeled this for us. Every time they have taken us in. We’ve done our part to contribute. You’ve done yours. Thanks.
