Quick trip from Lynchburg back to Kittanning

Grueling traffic due to the holiday weekend was WELL WORTH the trip! It was great hanging out together at Amy's and then riding down to Lynchburg via NY city!

We were driving through and decided simply to do a drive-by of downtown...SOoooo we went past the Metropolitan Museum of Art, drove through Central Park, drank coffee on Broadway, walked to Times Square, walked by Radio City and the NBC Studios, drove around the Empire State building... met up with our Indian friend and drove the rest of the way back in traffic. Well worth it!

The cups are full of apple cider! Yum!

Radio City
NY Times Square Church David Wilkerson started

The original Walton's Mountain home  in Schuyler, VA in the Blue Ridge Mountains.  It took us just a little rabbit trail off the main road to get home.

Then .... Danielle driving!

Joseph - The Departing Son

Joseph is heading back to the US in a month to earn money for college.  In Sept, he's heading to Word of Life Bible Institute in South Korea...same as Maria.  I'm not ready for him to go, but this is his time.

On the 29th of February we had a send off for him... many of his local friends showed up...it was a very meaningful send off.  Love you Joseph!

At the Park + College Interns

Joseph and Maria and Bill took Nafisa and Sofy to the park this week when it wasn't raining.

Sofia (Sofy) is Nafisa's best friend. Her mom and dad own the coffee shop we go to - Coffee Jar. It's got the best coffee in town!

They really enjoyed the rides and the other stuff.

On Friday we gained another two team members for 6 months! Chassidy and Sarah arrived from Southwest Baptist University in Missouri. We promptly put them on an Amazing Race Pune to become confident moving in community, riding several rickshaws to various places of interest around the city. They then went with Merrilea to visit some of her friends.

Our kids went out to their youth group this evening, so Nafisa and I spent some time together joking and playing.
