Nafisa practiced this song the whole week with Solas, a great guy from our church and mustered her courage to sing in front of 100+ people. Great going Nafisa!  Love you!

Our life is full so putting things on the blog has been crazy this year. I've defaulted to FB but I'm writing more for the rest of the year to be posted here.  Looking forward do connecting with you when we head to the US in July!

Chemistry gone Wrong

The last 3 homeschool chemistry experiments that Danielle and friends have attempted to do have gone bad. Won't tell you why this wick wouldn't burn but lots have gone wrong based on specific ingredients that either we didn't have or the South Asian version of it was different and thus flawed the experiments. The fun of learning.....

Malaika's Wedding

I've got dengue...week #2 and Merrilea has the flu...maybe bronchitis by now. It's been a full month.  The Christmas tree is up, thanks to Danielle and Sarah!

Sarah has come!

At the beginning of September, Sarah, Danielle's cousin from upper-state NY came for a few months. This Sunday was a celebration of culture at our church...so the girls got all decked-out!

 Yes, that's D's cell phone in her hand. She doesn't go anywhere without it!

 Now we know where all that sand in the house came from! Our complex is doing an addition to the garden...if there's a pile of dirt, Nafisa is not too far from it!
