Travels to Hyderabad and Kerala in August

Danielle traveled with our next door neighbors to Hyderabad for a wedding. They left our apartment complex last Sunday AM at 4:30am.  I drove them to the train station where they took a 10 hour ride to Hyderabad, east of us.  Merrilea joined them a few days later and both of them returned Friday.  They were exhausted but had fun! I'm glad the Lord provides such good neighbors! They are devoted Muslims, thus the reason for Danielle and Merrliea's head coverings. We've been to the spot the pic was taken many times in the past.

The same week I went to Trivandrum, Kerala, South India. Two other guys and I conducted a training. with some wonderful people. Kerala beaches are better than Goa! In the pic below I am with a friend eating at a stall on the beach. Trivandrum ( Thiruvananthapuram ) is a small metro city of over 1.5 million people located on the south western coast of India. It was lots warmer than Pune. Small is relative, since Pune boasts of over 5 million these days.

Had to take a pic of this. The waves were the biggest I've seen in years.  Reminded me of Nantasket Beach back home.

Nafisa's first time on the ice ACTUALLY IN PUNE! a new mall has a tiny ice-skating rink! It never gets cold enough to see our breath let alone get ice in our city!
