Went to the Falls

Today, we went here! The rocks are covered with mineral deposits so walking down and up the falls is pretty safe...even on the real steep parts. I'm amazed ... Nafisa really enjoyed going up and down with our friends, too! Pics to follow...

Quick trip to Thailand

On the 15th of June we were informed that our trip out of the country would change dramatically...so we found ourselves in Chiang Mai, Thailand! Here are some pics from the last few weeks.

We were evacuated from the mall yesterday...

Yesterday while trying to get the kids out for some family time at a local mall in Delhi, the mall we were in was evacuated.... Read more here.

So, instead of eating out and playing with Nafisa in the childrens' play-place...we (All of us) got in one rickshaw and went back to our hotel. We haven't been able to fit in one rickshaw for years but our driver insisted since there were no other available rickshaws since the whole mall (really large mall) was evacuated. What a ride! ;-)

Heading to Goa for some needed Down-Time

The last few months of our lives have been a flurry of activity.

Work has been demanding long hours and lots of travel.
The kids' homeschooling has also been demanding ... computer woes have hit a few times....

We are taking a short break for a vacation in Goa and then Merrilea and I are off to Delhi.

I'll be taking some personal time of solitude and prayer and then join our family for a few days at the beach...no computer around to distract. Hopefully I'll be able to update this blog with some cool pics from that trip...but not for about 2-3 weeks!

David, Danielle's 2nd grade teacher from years ago came to visit from Down Under with his friend 'Peta' who is our new friend. The boomerang David gave us took a definite demise when Danielle through it dead smack into a wall!
